She is survived by: her children, Vicki, Robert Warner, Lynne, Michael Traylor and William Arthur Sanders; her grandchildren, Kristi Michelle Davis, John Arthur Lee, Natalie Leann Tritt, Conner William Sanders and Adrianna Christine Rose Sanders; and her great grandchildren, Kylee Michelle Davis, Brock Alexander Davis, Hayden Claire Tritt and Sullivan Grace Tritt.

Throughout her 35-year tenure, she inspired countless students and made significant contributions to the academic community.
