She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Freeman Thornton and Dura Johnson Thornton; her husband Floyd E. Lewis; and her son James Kenneth Lewis. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Lewis and Mark Lewis. She is also survived by three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
