He was predeceased by: his parents, Jefferson Charles and Hazel Dickerson Goodson; his wife Tina Goodson; and his grandchildren, Joshua Prather and Brooklyn Augustine.
He is survived by: his children, Tracie Sullivan (Stanley), Hugh Goodson Jr. (Belinda), Candie De La (Bez), Jennifer Augustine (Jerome) and Shane Dodd; and his siblings, Terry Goodson, Keith Goodson, Jeff Goodson, Kim O'Kelley, Marty Goodson, Kellie Crowley and Ashley Goodson. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
