He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvil Hurst and Ruth York Hurst; his wife Martha Hurst; and his sister Patricia Jordan. He is survived by: his sons, Chip Hurst (Georgia) of Villa Rica and Steve (Lara Hurst); his sister Virginia; his brother-in-law Richard Sugg of Golden, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Drew, Lila, Austin and Eli Hurst. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
