Elizabeth McCollum Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth McCollum of Carrollton, Georgia, who passed away on December 16, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Weldon and Annie Adams Weldon; her husband C. D. "Ted" McCollum; her brothers, Bill Weldon and John; and her sister-in-law Louise Weldon.
She is survived by: her son David; her daughter-in-law Kathy McCollum of Macon; her daughter Kay; her son-in-law Glenn Rigby of Powder Springs; her grandchildren, Luke Rigby and Anna Rigby; her sister-in-law Frances Weldon (Bill); her sister Polly; her brother-in-law Buddy Kirk; her brother Jim; and her sister-in-law Lyn Weldon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Almon Funeral Home (548 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (102 Dixie St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Sunset Memory Gardens (790 Indian Mound Rd SE, Cartersville, GA 30120).
