It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elick Franklin of Carrollton, Georgia, born in Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Franklin and Nan Helton Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Betty Vaughn Franklin; his children, Vickie Camble, Pam Rogers and Terry Franklin; and his stepchildren, Marry Ellen Hemrick, Garron Hemrick, Mike, Beverly Hemrick, Gary and Larrisa Hemrick. He is also survived by several grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
