He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil William Strickland and Agnes Odessa Jett Strickland; and his siblings, Agnes Morris, Evelyn Stanford, Archie Virgil Strickland, Maxie Strickland and Tommy Strickland.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Hanvey Strickland; his children, Tammy Warren and Tommy Strickland; his grandchildren, Victoria Wade, Macailah Truett, Zachary Truett and Riley Strickland; and his sister-in-law Laura Strickland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
