She was predeceased by: her parents, William Theo Rooks and Thelma Darby Rooks; her husband Jerry Billy Cheatwood; her daughter Deborah Cheatwood Brauninger; and her siblings, William "Buddy" Theo Rooks, Jr. and Dorothy Ashley Beason.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry; her son-in-law Tony Todd; her siblings, Jackie, Gary Amrhein, Jeannie, Mike Godfrey, John and Ann Rooks; her grandchildren, Tee, Sheel Todd and Tyler Todd; her great grandchildren, Niam Gabriel Todd and Nivaan Elijah Todd; and her friend Marcelle Hubbard. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Martin & Hightower Funeral Home (1312 S Park St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
