She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Gay and Nina Gay; her husband William Lester Stanfield, Jr.; and her stepdaughter Vickie Stanfield. She is survived by: her children, William Lester "Stan" Stanfield, III and Susan Stanfield McCrary; her grandchildren, Rachael Dudley, Destiny Goins (Michael), Tim McCrary (Lauran), Jennifer Stanfield and Leslie McCrary Pickett (Korey); and her great grandchildren, Justyn, Isabella, Rylan, Addie, Olivia, Benjamin and Mason. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Crown Hill Cemetery (1903 Dawson Rd, Albany, GA 31707).
