It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Nicholas Hubbard D. (Carrollton, Georgia), who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Buel "Slick" and Eleanor Sheats Hubbard; his wife Marilyn Merrell Hubbard; his children, Charles Ellis Hubbard (Sara) of Atlanta, Benjamin Lee Hubbard (Christy) of Columbus and Merrell Hubbard McGinness (Wilson) of Lookout Mountain; his grandchildren, Jack Thomas Hubbard, Virginia Merrell Hubbard, Carson Lee Hubbard, Samuel Bailey Hubbard, Lydia Moore McGinness and Ellis Louise McGinness; his brother Richard Buell Hubbard III (Janet); his niece Elizabeth Hook (Alan); and his nephew Dr. Richard Buell Hubbard IV (Sonia).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Almon Funeral Home (548 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Carrollton First Methodist Church (206 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117).
