He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Jordan and Iva Green Jordan; his former wife Dr. Linda Ferguson Jordan; and his siblings, Willard, Wayne Jordan, Bernice Jordan Slaton and Geraline Jordan Bailey.
He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Jordan (Cindi) of Carrollton; his wife Edna Jordan; his daughter Paula Herndon DeFoor (Nathan) of Carrollton; and his grandsons, Sean Rabun (Amy) and Sgt. Charles Herndon III (Becca) of Oceanside, CA.. He is also survived by grandsons provided him with 10 great grandchildren and spouses, as well as a great great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Omni Christian Services, Bethany Christian Church Gratitude Offering, or a favorite charity for veterans.
