It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara West Billert (Carrollton, Georgia), who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Barbara West's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonathan Royal West and Lucille Boyd West. She is survived by: her son Joseph "Jody" Billert; her daughter-in-law Kristen Fernekes of Alexandria, VA; her sister Linda West Plunk of Hendersonville, TN; her nephews, Matt Plunk (Grace) of Destin, FL and Chris Plunk (Elena) of Santa Clarita, CA; and her niece Laurie Plunk Dishman of Hendersonville, TN. She is also survived by numerous cousins, and great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (563 Old Bremen Rd, Carrollton, GA 30117).
