He is survived by: his brother Bobby Ellis; his wife Wanda Cowart Ellis of Carnesville; his children, April Hardin of Carnesville, Jimmy Ellis of Cumming and Scott Ellis of Commerce; his grandchildren, Amber Withrow, Christian Hardin, Mercedes Hardin, MacKinley Ellis and Brantley Ellis; and his siblings, Jerry Ellis of Watkinsville, Ellen Ledford and Ann Roberts.
