He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph William and Ruth Means Pruitt; his brother Joel Pruitt; and his stepmother Mamie Sue Pruitt. He is survived by: his siblings, Millard Pruitt, Dillard Pruitt, Dempsey Pruitt and Steve Pruitt; and his sister-in-law Glenda Pruitt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
