She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Lounder and Pansy Morgan Simmons; her son Thomas Scott Brawner; and her nephew Steve Brawner. She is survived by: her siblings, Linda (Ed Brawner), Royston and Leland "Sam" Simmons; her granddaughter Alicia Brawner; her daughter-in-law Tabatha Brawner; and her nephews, Vernon Brawner and Greg Simmons.
