With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Carson (Carnesville, Georgia), who passed away on July 18, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Corbett Henry Chappelear and Nannie Broome Chappelear; her husband Joe Burns Carson; her son Randy Carson; and her siblings, Stewart Chappelear and Evelyn Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Mike, Kathy and Lisa (Jeff Beasley); her children-in-law, Ellen Carson and Steve McFarlin; her daughter Lavonia; her grandchildren, Michelle Carson, Megan Cheek (Jeff), Christy Burgess (Nathan), Stephen McFarlin (Lacie), Katie South (Lee), Camilla Correia (Gatlin) and Kelsey Marchant (Matt); her great grandchildren, Jaden, Cullen, Alex Mcleroy (Gregory), Baylee Anderson (Jacob), Presley, Jacob, Isabella, Carolina, Adler, Maudy, Manning, Bellamy, Payton, Gavon, Emma, Katherine and Travis; her great great grandchildren, Hiatt, Rowan and Ralph; her brothers, Charles Chappelear and Melvin Beck Gay; and her sister-in-law Betty Carson.
