She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Eloise Vickery Sears and Thomas Walter Sears; her husband Herbert Winson Payne; her child Durell Payne; and her brother William "Bill" Sears.
She is survived by: her son Donnie Payne (Sharon) of Hiawassee; her grandchildren, Julie Payne, Leigh, Mike Blalock, David and Kristen Payne; her great grandchildren, Bradley Rogers, Hudson Blalock, Ellie Blalock and Mary Charles Payne; and her siblings, Nelda Taylor, Joyce Minor of Athens, Linda Hooper of Jefferson, Doris Lewis of Douglas and Alvin Hooper of Warner Robbins.
