She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Cyrus Hubert and Ella Mae Carlin Thurmond; her husband William Paul Bentley; her grandson Michael Neal Ledford; and her sibling Bertie Mae Thomas.
She is survived by: her grandson David Hunt; her great grandchild Amanda Abbs; her siblings, Ruvelle Segars, Grady Thurmond and Kendall Thurmond; her children, William Paul, Jr. (Iris Bentley), Wayne (Allison Bentley), Dennis (Diane Bentley) and Jenene; her son-in-law Sammy Coker of Toccoa, GA.; and her siblings, Rosetta Bennett, Junior Thurmond and Joe. She is also survived by Fourteen Grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren.
