With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin W. Whitehead of Carnesville, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on July 31, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Ledger Whitehead and Estelle Beatrice Carson Whitehead; and his siblings, Eugene Whitehead, Lamar Whitehead and Nina Kelley.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Ruth Smallwood Whitehead of Carnesville; his daughters, Susie Brown (David) of Hartwell, Chris Kiblinger (Keith) of Zebulon, GA and Angie Eder (Wes Johnson) of Loganville, GA; his grandchildren, Koty Brown, Kelsey Brown, Jake Kiblinger, Luke Kiblinger and Carson Eder; and his great grandchild Lane Kiblinger.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or a charity of one's choice.
