He is survived by: his wife Sarah Vernell Chappelear Carson; his children, Mike (Ellene Carson), Kathy (Steve McFarlin) and Carnesville; his sister-in-law Betty Carson; his grandchildren, Michelle Carson, Megan Cheek (Jeff), Christy Burgess (Nathan), Stephen McFarlin (Lacie), Katie South (Lee), Camilla Correia (Gatlin) and Kelsey Marchant (Matt); his great grandchildren, Jaden, Cullen, Alex Mcleroy (Gregory), Baylee Anderson (Jacob), Presley, Jacob, Isabella, Carolina, Adler, Maudy, Manning, Payton, Gavon and Emma; and his great great grandchildren, Hiatt, River and Rowan.
