With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hubert Nix (Carnesville, Georgia), born in Clarkesville, Georgia, who passed away on August 15, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Nix and Omie Robinson Nix; his spouse Oria Lucille Pitts Nix; his child Bobbie Jo Nix; his grandson Jeremiah Nix; and his brother Lloyd Nix.
He is survived by: his sons, Johnny Lee Nix and James Nix; his grandchildren, Sherry Denise Garrison and Joey Shane Garrison; his siblings, Gordon Nix, Palmer, Freida McNabb and Dollie Nix; and his children, Willie Nix of Homer, GA, H. L. Nix, David Nix, Evelyn Sims of Homer, GA, Betty Gail Bland and Carolyn Beltz. He is also survived by twenty-three grand-children and forty one great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchild.
