She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Burns and Lizzie Phillips Burns; her former husband Andrew Wade; her son Kirby Wade; her siblings, Oscar Burns (Vernie), Leroy Burns (Blanche), Wilson Burns (Tex), Julie Armour (Howard), Nancy Cunningham (Junior), Vernie Johnson (Andy) and Eunice Shirley (Donald); and her sister-in-law Syble Burns.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Wade (Ann Nation), Kenneth Wade (Kim), Keith Wade (Loretta), Tony Wade (Nicole), Toby Wade (Angela) and Tammy Wade Thomas; and her siblings, Minnie Lee Burns and Nelson Burns. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Chapel (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531).
