She was predeceased by: her mother Lona Royston; and her spouse Verner Banks. She is survived by: her children, Tommy Banks, Lanny, Sandy Banks, Elaine and Charles Honea; and her grandchildren, Sherry Cieslukowski, Bambie Banks, Jason Banks, Christy Singh, Sandy Ankerich and Katrina Spencer.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Riverside Baptist Church (215 Atkinson Bridge Rd, Royston, GA 30662). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Franklin Memorial Gardens (9589 GA-59, Lavonia, GA 30553).
