He is survived by: his son Dave; his wife Dixie Carol Boggus Simpson; his son Charley Davis Simpson, Jr. (Susan); his grandchildren, Charley Davis Simpson III (Davis) and Lydia Diane Simpson; his son Thomas Jacob Simpson (Jake); his grandchildren, Matthew Anthony Simpson (Matt) and Lillian Ruth Simpson (Lily); his daughter Rebecca Lee Simpson (Becky); his grandchildren, Ashley Wilson, Pepper Wilson (Todd Morgan), Alleah Crawford (John), William Davis Wehunt (Laura) and Andrew Caleb Wilson (Amber Shildmyer); his great grandchildren, Allie Thomas (Levi), Hank Wilson, Rachel Morgan, Faylee Crawford, Levi Wilson, Jack Crawford, Kate Wehunt and Maggie Wehunt; and his great great grandchild Morgan Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
