She was predeceased by: her parent Brantley Callaway Cofer; and her sisters, Anne Taylor and Jo McNair. She is survived by: her husband Doug Mathews; and her siblings, Wendy Cofer (Dot) of Thomson, Agnes Cofer Church of Atlanta, Martha Cofer Stokely (Jimmy) of Oakridge and Jim Cofer (Ellen) of Owens Crossing, Alabama. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
