It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edmond Howell Shaw of Carlton, Georgia, born in Gordon, Georgia, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Willie Shaw and Hassie Garmon Shaw; and his siblings, Reverend G. W. Shaw, John Shaw, Bobby Shaw, Joanne Shaw, Ethel Shaw and Eleanor Shaw.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Lackey Shaw; his sons, Garry Shaw (Susan) of Carlton, Georgia and Raymond Shaw (Rhonda) of Jackson, Georgia; his grandchildren, Ashley Shaw Moon (Jared) of Gainesville, Jennifer Shaw Johns (Josh) of Comer, Rachel Shaw of Atlanta and Raegan Shaw of Hampton; and his siblings, Jerold Shaw, Louise Wofford of Calhoun, Frances Williams of Calhoun and Mary Channell (Ernest) of Calhoun. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
