It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommie S Hammock of Canton, Georgia, born in Lexington, Georgia, who passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Smith and Lucile Smith; her husband Jimmy H. Hammock Sr.; her daughter Lucile "Luci" Hammock; and her sisters, Jackie Roberts and Vivian Ragonesi.

She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Harris Hammock Jr. (Caryl), Randall Ford Hammock (Lura), Ronald Carson Hammock (Regina) and Daniel Thomas Hammock (Katherine C.); her grandchildren, Jessica Caryl Martell (Kyle), Matthew Patrick Thompson (Rebecca), Sean Michael Hammock, Luke Colville Hammock (Katherine E.), James Carson Hammock, David Harris Hammock, Mark Bridges Hammock and Sara Beth Hammock; and her great grandchildren, Hailey Thompson, Andrew Thompson, McKenzie Martell, Lucy Hammock, Jackson Martell, Nellie Hammock, Eli Hammock and Franklin Hammock. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
