She was predeceased by: her husband Frank "Shorty" Smith; her sons, Ronald Smith and Jerry Wayne Smith; her parents, Sam Cornett and Ruth Cornett; her granddaughter Tracy Silvers; and her siblings, Catherine Edmondson, Lila Prince and O'Neal Cornett.
She is survived by: her sons, Gene Smith (Sue) and Danny Smith; her daughter-in-law Teri Smith; her grandsons, Timothy Smith (Terri), Scott Smith, Jeremy Smith (Katie) and Michael Smith; and her great grandchildren, Caleb Silvers, Blake Smith, Ryan Smith, Reid Smith, Max Smith, Neve Smith and Megan Moss. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
