With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruel M. Davis of Canton, Georgia, born in Ellijay, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Davis and Vira Davis; and his siblings, Vestal Davis and Rosalee Lecroy. He is survived by: his wife Virginia R. Davis; his children, Jeff Davis (Tracey) and Pam Jarrard (Walt "Fud"); his grandchildren, Leah Davis, Marlana Geocks (Jason) and Christina Ellis (Chris); his great grandchildren, Collin Lauger, Natalee Lauger, Byrklee Geocks, Oaklee Geocks, Paisley Ellis and Casen Ellis; and his siblings, Violet Waldrop, Jack Davis, Glenda Darby (Albert), Velda Wheeler, Shirley Perrin (Jack) and Bobby Davis (Lanie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
