He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Bailey and Mae Bailey; and his daughter Elise Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Linda Cannon Bailey; his daughters, Amanda (Brian Hohenbery), Delane (Gary Castleberry) and Jennifer (Sam Moss); and his grandchildren, Drew, Connor, Allie, Kiersten, Ally, Ethan, Landon and Claire.
Rick received several awards for his contributions to the insurance industry including Georgia Health Underwriter of the Year, Atlanta Health Underwriter of the Year, and the National Distinguished Service Award.
