He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Patterson and Ruth Ell Patterson; his son Christopher Wayne Patterson; his parents-in-law, Byron and Thelma Morris; and his brother-in-law Butch Clodfelter.
He is survived by: his nephew Justin Patterson; his great-nieces, Angela Pharr (Tony), Brandy Phillips (Jason) and Dawn Smith (Chris); his siblings, Randy Patterson, Donna Harry (James) and Kenny Morris (Pam); his grandchildren, Morgan Southerland (James), Rev Trevor Phillips (Kamiryn), Shelby Jenkins (Evan), Kristen Phillips, Kaitlyn Smith, Mason Ratcliff (Nia), Macain Pharr, Sarah Phillips, Bryson Smith and Matthew Phillips; his great grandchildren, Bentley, Jesse, Tucker, Natalie, Jacob, Gunner, Graham, Lakelyn and Sawyer; and also Linda Morris Patterson. He is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the South Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Liberty Baptist Church (3150 Ball Ground Rd, Ball Ground, GA 30107).
