She was predeceased by: her father W. R. Hooper. She is survived by: her children, Elin Hooper Brothers, Fred Hooper, Buddy Hooper, Bill Hooper and Jack Hooper; her sisters, Edith Lawson, Bobbie Tanner and Flossie Cagle; her daughters, Vickie Schultz (Paul), Lisa Dixon (Chad), Sherrie Mize (Frank) and Wendi Luther (Jon Rule); her sister JoAnn Martin (Carl); her sisters-in-law, JoAnn Hooper and Judy Hooper; her grandchildren, Melissa Cummins (Patrick), Matt Dixon (Chelsea), Leslie Taft (David), Ryan, Ashley and Haley; and her great grandchildren, Reagan Taft, Amilya Taft, Cara Taft and Parker Schultz. She is also survived by Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the South Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114).
The family is accepting flowers and donations to Hickory Flat Fellowship.
