James Timms Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate James Timms (Canton, Georgia), whose life came to an end on February 19, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Timms; his daughter Brenda McArthur; his parents, Edge Timms and Minnie Timms; his siblings, J. D. Timms, Leon Timms, Robert Timms, Tommy Timms, Ronnie Timms, Lora Padgett and Faye Helton; and his son-in-law David McArthur.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kaley McArthur Lambert (Joe) and Joshua McArthur; his great grandchildren, Elena Lambert, Evelyn "Evie" McArthur, Arabella "Ari" McArthur and Jensen McArthur; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Timms and Martha Timms. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cherokee Memorial Park (120 Memorial Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to assist in purchasing a headstone.
