With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Andrew Porterfield of Canton, Georgia, born in Athens, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2024 at the age of 53. He is survived by: his parents, James C. Porterfield and Rose Porterfield of Atlanta; his wife Stephanie; his siblings, Paul (Joey) of Macon, Tim (Lauren) of Roswell and SaraRose of Macon; and his nephews, Nate (Ayasa), Cason, Hunter and Walker. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
