It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Edward Mixon of Canton, Georgia, born in Lyons, Georgia, who passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Jack Edward has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Marjorie McDaniel Mixon. He is survived by: his wife Bernice W. Mixon of Canton; and his children, Jean Allison (Tim) of Waleska, Jack Mixon (Shirley) of Talking Rock, Victor Mixon (Julie) of Statham, Charlie Mixon (Sharon) of Bartlett, TN and Chris Mixon (Greshain) of Canton. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson.
