We bid farewell to Glenn Curtis Barnhart Sr. of Canton, Georgia, born in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 7, 2024 at the age of 91. Glenn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Griffin Barnhart; his sister Joann Biesecker (Gene); his children, G. Curtis Barnhart (Rita) and Anita Barnhart Evans (Lee); his grandchildren, Amber Barnhart (Chase), Lee Evans (Jacklyn), Christina Schlake (Drew) and Nicole Smith (Cody); and his great grandchildren, Tripp Evans, Kinzlee Hess, Eilen Hess, Reagan Schlake, Hollis Evans, Tinlee Curtis, Griffin Schlake and Eli Smith.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the South Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Cherokee County Homeless Veteran's Program.
