He was predeceased by: his father Drew Alan Shurmantine; and his brothers, Geoffrey and Bradley Shurmantine. He is survived by: his mother Pamela Shurmantine (Worthen).

Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (490 Arnold Mill Rd, Woodstock, GA 30188). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
