He was predeceased by: his parents, George Balak Sr. and Helen Balak Lentz. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Mary Elizabth "Liz" Holmes; his wife Mary Elizabeth "Liz"; his children, Chris Balak (Alisha) of Gunter, John Balak (Carla) of Cartersville, Georgia and Sarah Wolford (Tyler) of Prosper, Texas; and his grandchildren, Carter, Presley, Heath, Caroline and Dustin.
