He is survived by: his wife Diane Lyons; his children, Jeff Lyons (Wanda), Laura Malott, David Lyons (Electa), Justin Lyons (Rebekah), Gariane Laker (Matthew) and Melissa McCollum (Adam); and his cousin Homer Kerr. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (137 Hightower Rd, Ball Ground, GA 30107). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
