He is survived by: his children, Jerry Anthony McDaris (Linda) and Sharon Watt; his sister Frances Herndon; his grandchildren, Julie, Karen, Jeffrey, Michael, Amy, Kristi, Heather and Jennifer; and his great grandchildren, Veronica, Leora, Baylee, Camden, Lucas, Mason, Ella, Macey, Harper, Jordan and Morgan.
