Del Kent Meek Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2025, at the age of 76, Del Kent Meek of Canton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Del Kent is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Del Kent's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Meek and Sherman Meek. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Meek; his children, Wes Meek (Lindsay) and Kelley Meek; his granddaughter Paige Meek; and his siblings, Larry Meek, Martin Meek (Bill Cooper) and Carla Bailey. He is also survived by several nephews and a niece.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Northside Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory (12050 Crabapple Rd, Roswell, GA 30075).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make donations to any of the following: The V Foundation for cancer research, The Parkinson's Foundation, St. Jude's Hospital or The Atlanta Humane Society.
