Comell Moore Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Comell Moore (Canton, Georgia), who passed away on March 24, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Watts and Myrtle Watts; her husband Joseph Moore; her sons, Jeffrey and Scott Smith; and her siblings, Bill Watts (Marcella), Jesse (Merilee), Jerry Art (Teruko) and Betsy Henson.
She is survived by: her siblings, John (Somchit), Susie Holmberg and Debbie Crimmings (Jack). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the McDonalds and Sons Funeral Home (150 Sawnee Dr, Cumming, GA 30040). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McDonald and Son Funeral Home (150 Sawnee Dr, Cumming, GA 30040). A procession was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
During this time she was nominated as the Volunteer of the Year for the American Cancer Society, a charter member of the Riverdale Women's Club and Club Woman of the Year.
