He was predeceased by: his wife Dallas Bishop (Rampley); his parents, Fred Bishop and Lillie Belle Bishop (Tippens); and his sister Anne Hughes (Bishop). He is survived by: his daughter Pam Bobo (David); his grandchildren, Steve Arp (Christy), Stephanie Tiller (Jason), Sara McCloskey (Jay) and Rebekah Bobo; his sisters, Ruth Payne (Bishop) and Elaine Carver (Bishop); his daughter Rhonda Arp-Brace (Charles); and his grandchildren, Michael Brace and Ronita Brace. He is also survived by 4 Great-grandchild, Several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the South Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in his honor.
