He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Byron and Nina Burnham Byron; his son Stephen; and his brothers, Francis "Frank" Byron, Lynn G. Byron and Randall "Randy" Byron.
He is survived by: his wife Gerry Senn Byron; his son John (Monica Byron); his stepdaughter Mardi Senn (Georgia); his grandchildren, Nicholas and Victoria Byron; and his brother Glenn Byron. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
