She was predeceased by: her daughter Sarah Michelle "Binky" Nichols. She is survived by: her children, Kris Wilkinson (Malc), Matt Padgett (Beyonca), Rebekah Waser (Jeremiah) and Mary Hogan (Daniel); her mother Patricia Payne; and her siblings, Susan Williams, Grady R. Chapman, Jr., Robert Chapman, Brandon Grizzle and Morgan Ray. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sosebee Funeral Home (191 Jarvis St, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help assist the family with funeral expenses.
