It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Cheek (Canon, Georgia), born in Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on September 10, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Kay and Annie Ruth Craft Kay; her husband Albert Cheek, Jr; and her brothers, Joe Kay, John R. Kay, Kenneth Kay, George O. Kay, William Kay and Lamar Kay.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Cheek (Christine) of Canon, Steve Cheek of Canon, Jean Turner (Ronald) of Canon and Beth Epps (Dwayne) of Canon. She is also survived by six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
