She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Whaley and Elizabeth Burch Barber; her husband Lazelle McCook; her daughter Elizabeth "Beth" McCook Sharp; and her siblings, Foy Dalton Whaley, Sr., J. E. Whaley, Charles Whaley, Clara Taylor and Ruth Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Greene; her grandchildren, Camilla Greene, Joseph Sharp (Rachel) and Tyler Sharp (Dana); her great grandchildren, Hatcher Sharp and Hattie Sharp; her son-in-law Mark Sharp (Lisa); her stepgrandchildren, Erin Sharp and Grant Sharp; and her caregiver Vette Merritt.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home (410 E Broad St, Camilla, GA 31730). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
