She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Howard Pollock and Rosalyn Miller; her husband John Homer Sweat; her brother Ronald Howard Pollock; and her former husband Carl Wilson Sellars, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Tekla Collette Sellars and Carl W. Sellars, Jr.; her stepchildren, John P. Sweat and Tammy Sweat; her grandchildren, Savanna Sellars (Brett), Samantha Humphries (Jamie) and Stephanie Riveria; her great grandchild Emily Humphries; her siblings, Lona Bell (Bob), Nelson Pollock (Gail) and Gisele Butler; her caregiver LaShonda Davis; and also Baconton Baptist Church. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at 496 Cemetery Rd, Andersonville, GA 31711.
