He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Wimberly and Claretha Williams-Wimberly; his siblings, James Wimberly and Matha Lee Wimberly; his nephew James S. Hicks; and his niece Kimberly Collins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Valorie M. Wimberly (Tiffany L. Wimberly) and Glenda J. Harris-Wimberly of Camilla, Georgia; his grandchildren, Colin D. Wimberly (Keshona) of Camilla, Cody B. Wimberly of Camilla, Camille S. Corker (Wimberly) of Camilla and Caleb D. Wimberly of Camilla, Georgia; his siblings, Delois Wimberly-Martin of Albany, Lillie Wimberly-Saxon (Ronnie) of Camilla, Georgia, Barbara J. Wimberly of Camilla, Georgia, George W. Wimberly (Margie) of Orlando and John W. Wimberly (Joann) of Macon, Georgia; his nieces, Karen D. Hicks of Camilla, Cayela Wimberly-White (Napoleon) of Atlanta, Georgia and Christie Wimberly-Harper (Edward) of Atlanta, Georgia; and his nephew Matthew Martin of Albany, Georgia. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
