With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivian Gandy Thompson (Camilla, Georgia), born in Colquitt, Georgia, who passed away on December 29, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest "Tobe" Gandy and Lucy Singletary Gandy; her husband Ronald Thompson; and her son Ronnie Thompson, Sr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Sherri Maddox (David) of Vero Beach, FL., Tina Horne and Pam Dennis of Mexico Beach, FL.; her daughter-in-law Janet Thompson (Sis) of Sale City; her sisters-in-law, Patsy Hatcher of Sale City and Jackie Harrell (Brantley) of Bainbridge; and her grandchildren, David Maddox, Jr., Michael Maddox, Dawn Husainy, Tray Horne, Ronnie Thompson, Jr., Jay Thompson and Chance Dennis. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
Due to the covid outbreak, the family has requested that masks be worn and social distancing guidelines be followed.
